How it works

No new commands, no new decisions, no business of any kind. Devices run on their preset timers, the way a Shabbos clock always has. If Mendel ever can't tell the time, it does nothing at all.
Once Shabbat ends, a short note: what ran, what happened, or simply “all quiet — everything went as planned.”
